                There is much in this chapter worthwhile, but one of the greatest truths is that we can be planted in a poor spot of ground, but even then we can still flourish and the Lord will nourish us as we need to be nourished.

                I am in a point in my life where I feel I am in a poor spot of ground. Unfair things have happened that have hurt me, and I am in a difficult place.  But even during this hard time, I have felt the love and mercy of the Lord sustaining me.  It is true I am in a poor spot of ground, but the Lord continues to nourish me and I cannot blame my spot of ground for my difficulties – I can still flourish with the Lord’s help.
