The
condition of spiritual blindness where sharpness brings anger and lacking
sharpness brings hardened hearts needs a name, because I see that over and
over. It seems to be a legitimate
spiritual and psychological phenomenon. The hard part is, I cannot see a hope for
those that I know who are progressing down that road, so I don’t really know
what I can do to help those who are living that way. I know there is hope, but the mechanism by
which escape can occur is something that I don’t see. I feel like Mormon – at a loss to know what to
do with people that I love but who are otherwise seemingly stuck in a negative
cycle of spiritual degeneracy.
