Reading
of Com’s efforts to fight the robbers, I was reminded of how each and every one
of us is obliged not to win the battle with Satan but merely to fight. After all, the stone cut out of the mountain
rolls forth without hands. The Lord has
won the battle, and God has all power in Heaven and on Earth. We are not called upon to prevail in our
situation, but rather to do all that we can (relying on the assistance of the
Lord) so that the Lord can work through us when He chooses to so as to
accomplish His work.
