It is
so clear at times that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was part of the Law of Moses,
and the tragedy of David’s life was that he was one of those who best
understood this truth – and yet he fell so short in his own life. So too must we worry – it is not our
knowledge or our understanding of the Gospel that will save us, but rather our
efforts and willingness to bend to the demands of the Gospel and to live the
life that God has designed for us.
It is
truly terrifying that we may, in a moment, make a decision that will
reverberate to our destruction over the course of an eternity.
