                I wonder what the world that Abinidi was using (that Joseph Smith translated as “Christ”) was.  Was the world a transliteration of Christ into the language of the people at that time?  Or was it the local world for Messiah?  And I wonder what the logical consequences of each particular answer would be.

                There are many things that we can learn from the scriptures, but it also raises questions that we can’t answer.  But the fundamental thing that I have noticed is that the questions that are answered in the scriptures are the “what do I do?” type questions, while the questions raised or unanswered are more along the lines of “how was this done?” or something similar.
