Alma 38-39

(October 14, 2015)

There are experiences that are intolerable – hurts so bad that we cannot imagine making in through them, challenges so overwhelming that we know that we are going to fall.  But we are so very fortunate that we need never face those challenges on our own.  This chapter uses the expression that we are bear with patience because the Lord is with us, and that is certainly true.  There is nothing the world can throw at us that we can’t handle if the Lord is with us (and, quite simply, nothing that we can handle [no matter how much we might think we can] if the Lord is not with us).
