I love
the language of this chapter that if we are faithful we will overcome all
things. Absolute language (especially
absolute language from the Lord) always catches my attention (which, in light
of His discussion of Eternal and Endless punishment, it is intended to). If we take the Lord at His word, there is
nothing that faith cannot overcome. We
may have setback and obstacles and pain, but in the end faith in the Lord will
carry us through these times and bring us to the other side (whichever side of
the Veil that other side is to be found on).
