The
Lord here states that the only those who endure to the end will be saved. We all want to find some way around this, I
imagine – some great deal of valor that will excuse us from the daily grind of
conversion and sanctification. Of
course, in wishing for this we wish for something that will never be. We must be perfected, and perfection comes
only through growth. And growth comes in
no other way than accepting the Atonement and Grace and continuing and
continual repentance.
