There are
so many times that the Lord has taken such good care of me, and yet I have
never been in the mindset where I was inclined to fast for joy. I fast for things I want help with, or to
help others, but I cannot remember a time when I fasted just to say thank you
for the blessings that I have received.
I am guessing that says something about me.
Either
I don’t fully understanding fasting, or I am not as grateful as I should be
(and I think both of those prongs are likely true, to be honest).
