As I
read through these chapters, I was struck by the Lord’s language about those
having ears to hear. I had read through
that section, and must admit that I didn’t understand what I was reading very
well. It then hit me that, for whatever
foolish reason on my part, I had not yet prayed to understand this particular
portion.
So many
times in my life, I forget to pray as I should.
There really is no excuse for that – the Lord has been so kind to me in
answering my prayers that I cannot imagine what it is about me that allows me
to forget like that. But, as always,
when I do pray to Him, He is there.
